“This place is the 'magic happiness' that rounds out a night in the lower east side.
When you get sick of people in trashy t-shirts and $500 blazers trying to pretend
they're not rich, head here and grab a $7 crepe filled with delicious nutella and
bananas. The place is tiny (less than 10 seats) and is always packed. They have
sweet crepes (3 kinds of chocolate, banana, peanut butter, and some others) as
well as some more substantial ones (swiss and ham, mozzarella and prosciutto ,
egg and stuff). Stick with the sweet ones, the batter is slightly sweet and perfectly
browned. It doesn't jive as well with the meaty ones. The lady makes it right in front
of you, rocking the dual burner crepe-pan/stove top things, and somehow they
always turn out perfect. Overall, highly recommended.” |
