Crepe Paris Reviewed

Order: Sun-dried Tomatoes, Mozzarella, Strawberry, Banana, Nutella, Ice Cream, Whipped Cream Steak, Mushroom, Swiss Cheese Mango, Caramel, Walnuts

Comments: Creperie is a fantastic late night place to have dessert or dinner in the Lower East side. I took a few of my friends there a few weeks ago and we each had a crepe, each of which was delicious. My favorite one was with nutella chocolate and strawberries and bananas. I lived in Europe for a few years and this creperie reminded me of my days in Paris. It is a definite recommendation for anyone looking to fulfill a sweet-tooth at night!

METROMIX New York rated Creperie as the
"Most E-mailed Restaurant"
during the course of August 3-19, 2007 and the
"Most Viewed Restaurant"
during August 10-21, 2007

No combo is too outlandish for Creperie, which serves both the sweet and savory
alternatives from their hip Ludlow Street headquarters. Depends on the mood, but
many can't resist this Parisian chic snack without a dollop of Nutella. The tiny
restaurant also delivers, in case a crepe-craving comes before the night begins.

Eating a crêpe on the go isn't always the easiest feat, especially if it's filled with drippy
sweet sauces and fruit. However, once you get used to it, crêpes turn out to be good
mobile snacks. In Paris, you'll… find many crêpe stands that hand out the goodies in
wax paper or on paper plates. Crêperie is one of the few take-out crêpe places in
New York and has extensive choices.

Crepes to tell your friends about!

A week ago I saw this creperie on the food network with Bobby Flay and so I decided to check this place out. Unbelievable! Their crepes are incredible! I have been back four or five times and each time I have been blown away. The food is so good and the woman that owns it is extremely sweet. I try to order something new from their crazy combinations on their menu, which is pretty difficult because I am so addicted to their nutella, strawberry, banana crepe. I must say that I have a huge appetite and I usually have to order a lot at a restaurant to keep me satisfied. But at this creperie, I find it hard to finish even 2 crepes with all the delicious combinations that you can stuff into a crepe. Even though, this little place is so good that I I almost licked the plate in front of all the other customers. Overall, this place is amazing and even the little statue of a man outside is a huge draw! Well done, Creperie!!

Pros: Comfortable atmosphere, outstanding food, great service, good-looking customers, great music, no long lines, awesome location around bars, delicious ice coffee drinks

Cons: None

Doesn't get any better then this creperie I have had many crepes in my life, having lived in Nice and Paris, and I didn't believe my taste buds when my girlfriend took me to this Creperie on Ludlow Street. We both shared a nutella & banana crepe and I had a savory chicken, spinach & feta crepe. The guy that was making the crepes must have put some sort of magical ingredient into the crepe batter because I have to admit that these crepes were so delicious that I thought I was in my favorite restaurant in France. I loved the complete atmosphere of this small creperie with the brightly colored walls and its friendly and comfortable ambiance. When I told a few of my friends about this place, they were also addicted immediately. I also recommend the lemonade with the mint leaves, it will quench your thirst until you savor a mouth-watering crepe. This place is overall amazing and I would suggest taking a trip over there to see for yourself just how appetizing the crepes are.

The Best Spot for a Late Night Sweet Tooth

Crepes are an international favorite. The originally French dish has managed to surface in every country and in every meal with breakfast to dessert crepes available everywhere. My favorite place for a crepe.. The Creperie on Ludlow. This charming small creperie prepares hot and crispy crepes right in front of your eyes with any ingredients you can dream up. Fresh raspberry puree, chopped nuts, mangos and nutella? Not a problem. How could it get any better you ask? How is that for an after club treat!
Recommended for: Clubgoers looking for a sweet way to end the night

Overall Rating:

Oh what would I have done without you oh wonderful crepe place? The perfect snack… when you're inebriated and starving! Maybe my judgment was a bit skewed.. but this crepe was pretty damn good! A very decadent Dolce de Leche sauce loaded with strawberries, wrapped in a warm crepe and topped with powdered sugar. Seriously, this place put the proverbial "cherry on top" of a really great night!

My only regret? I should have ordered Ice Cream to go with it! Well after a night of drinking and celebrating.. I washed it down with a crepe and a nice cup of milk. Not usually recommended, but it worked out for me. I love New York! =)

Nothing hits the spot better than a crepe, either sweet (like the Nutella and chocolate) or savory (like the goat cheese with roasted peppers and sun dried tomatoes).
